O’Brien & Wolf, L.L.P. is a leader in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution.  This is a fast growing area of the law that gets cases settled quickly and without a trial.  Alternative Dispute Resolution consists of mediation or arbitration.  In mediation, the parties to a dispute attempt to settle the case with the help of a mediator.  In arbitration, the parties present their evidence to an arbitrator who decides the case.  Our attorneys serve as mediators and as arbitrators in these proceedings.  We also represent clients in mediations and arbitrations.  Alternative Dispute Resolution should be used in appropriate cases and it should be considered in every case.
